New Delhi: Caviar, a brand known for its luxury accessories and custom iPhones, has launched a custom concept robot named Aladdin. The company claims it is the world's first luxury humanoid robot. This robot combines high-end engineering with decorative design motifs drawn from Arab culture and Islamic art, offering a unique blend of robotics and craftsmanship.

How is the robot Aladdin decorated?

According to Gizmochina, the Aladdin project is not intended for the mass market. Caviar intends to offer it as a bespoke, made-to-order item. Each unit will be customized with handcrafted embellishments, including gold work and the inlay of precious stones. Its design is inspired by traditional Eastern attire such as the Chapan and Kaftan, incorporating flowing shapes and decorative work to create a look reminiscent of the regal garments worn by historical Arab royalty.

What platform does the robot Aladdin use?

The company presents Aladdin as the world's first luxury humanoid robot. It runs on the Unitree G1 platform, featuring 23 degrees of freedom, dynamic stabilization, advanced actuators, and a total height of 130 cm and a weight of approximately 35 kg. These specifications allow the robot to walk, gesture, and perform natural movements. Caviar has retained this engineering core while redesigning the outer body to showcase cultural heritage and symbolic beauty.

What else do we know about Aladdin?

Caviar describes this project as a modern interpretation of the Aladdin story from 'One Thousand and One Nights'. Instead of a genie emerging from a lamp, Aladdin becomes a symbol of artificial intelligence bringing a machine to life. The robot is designed to embody the idea of a digital-age hero, one who derives power not from magic, but from intelligence and technological mastery. Customers can customize the product according to their preferences.

The company places great emphasis on personalization, involving buyers directly in the creative process. Buyers choose decorative motifs and symbolic elements, which Caviar's designers and engineers then transform into a finished product, making each Aladdin robot a unique creation.

The Aladdin project expands Caviar's portfolio beyond luxury electronics into the realm of artistic robotics. This robot is a conceptual statement about the future of high-end technology and the role of culture in shaping the aesthetics of machines. Currently, Caviar has not announced the price or production timeline.
